Email of the Month: October

At Zerorez, we realize that between work, school, kids, soccer games, and social obligations, our clients are busy and booking an optimal appointment for carpet cleaning can be tricky business.  That is why we always do our very best to arrive on time with a positive attitude to make each cleaning appointment a pleasant and pain-free experience. However, the truth is that sometimes mistakes happen - equipment is forgotten, tires go flat, and on the very-rare occasion a spot is missed.  

On a recent call, the portable unit that we have available to clean homes on the upper floors of apartment buildings was mistakenly allocated to another job on another route.  When our technicians arrived at our client's home, they saw three long flights of stairs between them and a successful job.  Instead of giving up on the job, they saw an opportunity to work together and complete the scheduled cleaning.  The resulting email from our client was music to our ears.

"Hi,

I wanted to let you know about the excellent service I received!

I had ordered a portable unit when I booked my appt., because our condo is on the 4th floor.  There was a mis-communication and your portable units were up in LA.

Your employees, Keith and Chris, went above and beyond in order to get the hoses up to our 4th floor condo.  It took every bit of the length of hose in their truck, but they made it.  It's so unusual these days to see this kind of quality service and can-do attitude from both Keith and Chris.  I appreciate all their efforts and wanted you to know!

The Positive Difference

Most carpet cleaners will advertise with dramatic (if slightly retouched), before-and-after photos.  Here is a camera-phone photo snapped by one of our creative technicians as he finished up the living room of a client.  It can be difficult to recognize the veritable transformation if one goes away when the carpet is dirty and returns when it is clean.  To provide his client with a visual representation of the positive difference that Zerorez can make, our technician left a small area of carpet uncleaned and, using a smaller hand tool, wrote "zerorez" in the carpet.  Fortunately, our client was grateful for the demonstration after which our technician, of course, promptly finished cleaning to reveal a beautifully restored carpet.  We are proud that our technician remembered to take the time to show the positive difference that Zerorez can make.
